Happy 60th Birthday Mam!
To my Mam, my first and forever Best Friend, my idol.
Without you, I don’t know where I’d be, or who I’d be or where I’m going in life. You have taught me who I want to be in life. You have always been my biggest inspiration and always will be. I thank you for never giving up on having me. I know your pregnancy on me was hard and that I almost killed you, but you always say ‘how I was worth it’. You’ve been my biggest supporter from the minute I was born and always believed in me no matter what I set myself up for. You listen to me complain, cry, laugh, moan, scream and every other emotion I have on the daily. You always lift me up when I am at my lowest point. You are beside my side for every hospital visit or stay, operation and doctors visits. When everything seems to be going wrong, you are my voice of reasoning. Your continued guidances and support when I feel hopeless gets me through anything.
You are so incredibly strong, compassionate, generous, kind, witty, cool, basically you are just great!! There is so many incredible things I could say about you, the list is endless.
Thank you. Thank you for everything you have done for me and given me in the past 26 years. You do so much for me and never once seek acknowledgement. You are a mother, a wife, a friend, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, and just an incredible human being.
Thank you for the many, many adventures you have given me in life. The places I have travelled with you and the things we have done together have been incredible. Thank you for being my travel buddy and helping my dreams come true.
I try my best too but many others don’t give you enough credit for just how much you do for others. So many people take advantage of you and your kind soul and that breaks my heart. You are too nice for your own good. You continually put others before yourself.
Without you, Dad and I would be a little bit lost and the house would definitely fall apart.
Thank you for every good morning and good night text message. Thank you for our gossip phone calls daily. Thank you for sneaking ‘taxi money’ into my purse or medication bag. Thank you for surprise gifts throughout the year for no reason other than just because you wanted to give me something.
I am so blessed to have been raised by you. You make me want to be the best version of myself.
I only hope that I’ve turn out to be even half the woman that you are and I hope one day I’m lucky enough to have kids so I can even be half the incredible Mum that you’ve been to me.
You deserve the world and my only hope is that one day, I’ll be able to pay you back for everything that you’ve done for me.
Thank you for everything. I love you so much
Happy 60th Birthday Mam.
Love always,
Sarah Jane
